It has a clean, earthy, wood-like, spicy and masculine fragrance much the same as Frankincense. Cypress essential oil is a warm oil and also a middle note. Used traditionally in Indian culture and Ayurvedic medicine, it was no surprise that this was a top choice for us too. It has a fresh, sweet and wood-like scent. Our Myrrh - Commiphora molmol is sourced from France. It is a fluid oil with an amber colour. As it ages the oil gets a darker colour and become a bit thicker as well. The distinct Myrrh resinous, spicy and woody smell is obvious when you open the bottle. It is a warm oil. Myrrh is steam distilled from the resin from the thorny Commiphora tree. When a wound on a tree penetrates through the bark and into the sapwood, the tree secretes a resin. Myrrh gum, like frankincense, is such a resin. Myrrh is harvested by repeatedly wounding the trees to bleed the gum, which is waxy and coagulates quickly. After the harvest, the gum becomes hard and glossy. OilGrow sources our oil from France.It is also wonderful for wound healing. It is one of the ancient oils used often in the Bible with about 17 mentions.

It has a sharp camphor-like fragrance. This herb is often used, fresh or dried, in culinary recipes on meat such as Lamb and Chicken. Rosemary essential oil is a warm oil and also a middle note.
