10ml Cedarwood – is known to be useful for reducing stress and tension. Works great as a deodorant. It assists with oxygenation of the cells, and can thus be useful for respiratory support. This is useful to assist with ADHD, insomnia and sleep aid as well. Use for skin conditions such as scalp, eczema and arthritis mixed in a carrier oil.
Cedarwood was used in Old Testament times by King Solomon and others to build houses and the temple. It was also part of the Levitical Priests’ tools used in some cases in the temple rituals (see Leviticus 14)
10ml Frankincense – is known to be useful for treating abrasions and scrapes, bumps, bruises, cuts and wounds even boils. To treat these use neat on the affected area. Can also be diluted if preferred in hot or cold water and used to treat the area. It is also useful for cough, asthma, bronchitis, sore throat, gingivitis, mouth ulcers and sores. To treat these, use in a towel-over-head steam method, or mixed into honey to swallow. To swirl in your mouth, add 2 drops to a tablespoon of Fractionated Coconut OIl and swirl for 2 minutes then spit out.
Frankincense resin was most probably the gift given to Maria at the Messiah’s birth. It was used along with other spices in a perfume/ incense specially ordered by YHVH to use in the temple at specific times. Frankincense is mentioned in the Song of Songs often as well.
10ml Cypress is also part of the OilGrow Biblical Oils combo – it is known to be useful to clear airways and assist with deeper breathing – use 3 drops in a diffuser. Also good to energize one’s mood and emotions. Use with a carrier oil to assist with circulation.
Cypress wood was also used in Old Testament times by King Solomon and others to build houses and the temple but mostly on the floors whereas Cedarwood was used on the walls. Cypress wood was used by Noah for the arc at YHVH’s command. Spears and Instruments were also made form Cypress.
10ml Cinnamon Bark – is known to be useful for decreasing inflammation and fighting infections and parasites. It can reduce blood sugar and bad cholesterol while stimulating the immune system. It is thought to stimulate libido as well. Use in a diffuser, on diffuser jewelry or mixed into honey in a hot cup of rooibos tea or coffee.
Cinnamon was used as a whole spice in Old Testament Times but also much in the same way that Frankincense was. In a special perfume for incense burning in the temple at appointed times. Cinnamon was used as a fragrance in Song of Songs since it was considered to be an aphrodisiac.
10ml Myrrh – is known to be useful for killing harmful bacteria and parasites. It is a relief for colds, congestion, cough and bronchitis. Inhaling it is one way to use it – in a diffuser or by hand. It is a sedative scent and is known to help with improving negative moods and anxiety. It helps ease pain and even swelling. Use in a carrier oil topically. Mix into honey to use internally.
Myrrh was used much in the same way that Frankincense and Cinnamon was used. Myrrh along with these other two was taken from Egypt when Moses took the Israelites out. The only time the oil of Myrrh was mentioned in the bible was in Esther – it was used in a half a year treatment of the ladies that was waiting on the King’s choice of a Queen. A fragrance but also a cleanser. Song of Songs is also full of references to Myrrh.
