Sweet Almond Oil is available in 50ml bottles.  Get it along with one of the OilGrow blends to make a lovely massage blend.  Or just use some single oils, add 10 to 15 drops to the 50ml bottle and there you have a lovely, handmade massage oil for whatever purpose you have in mind.

OilGrow’s pure Sweet Almond Oil is full of Vitamin E, magnesium, phosphorus, and copper. It is a wonderful antioxidant oil. With the anti-inflammatory properties in Sweet Almond oil, it actually helps to boost your immunity too! It has Omega-3 fatty acids so might help maintain good cholesterol levels and improve your memory.

Use this oil to soothe irritated skin and treat minor wounds and cuts. Ayurvedic medicine uses it to treat skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis even. As a matter of fact, it is a great emollient (softening & soothing to skin), so it helps to balance the absorption of moisture and water loss on the skin. Sweet Almond oil is antibacterial and full of vitamin A, due to this, it makes acne treatment easy with this oil. The high Vitamin E content can also help to heal sun damage.

It helps to soften and strengthen your hair. Sweet Almond is rich in biotin, so due to this it helps to keep nails healthy and strong. When you use it as a hair and scalp treatment, it can also help protect your hair from sun damage.  It is a natural SPF 5. Sweet Almond oil is a strong antibacterial and fungicidal which make it effective at balancing the yeast that causes dandruff.

Get this oil into your diet! It is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids which will help to increase levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL) while it will also lower levels of “bad” cholesterol (LDL). Your body will thank you!

How do you use it? Add to salads and soups.  Work into your hair treatment routine along with our Forest blend. Because it is a carrier oil, do not use it on a collar or a pillowcase as you can with our blends or pure essential oils. It will leave a mark.  Do not use in a diffuser at all as it is not a volatile oil and cannot be broken up into small molecules in order to diffuse into your home.
